Delete your account

Deleting your YouChess account permanently removes your account and associated data from our servers: your profile, rating, and synced game history.

From the app

Open Settings in the YouChess app and choose Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

By email

You can also request deletion by emailing hello@youchess.app from the device where you use YouChess. We process requests within 30 days.

What is kept

Purchase claim records (store transaction identifiers) are retained for fraud prevention as permitted by law — they contain no personal information beyond the store transaction ID. Games stored only on your device are removed when you uninstall the app.
